Coffee Together, Apart II: Brewing Together
Coffee Together, Apart II: Brewing Together is a virtual brewing class in which you will learn about some of the key principles of extraction and dialing in a coffee. Then, we will all brew the same coffee together using whatever device each student has on hand.
Designed to be informative and social, you'll have the opportunity to workshop your technique with guidance from the instructor throughout the session to make the most of your home coffee setup. In this time of social distancing, this is a unique opportunity to share coffee with others, while apart, and to discuss a single coffee’s expression across multiple brew methods, shedding light on how different methods can highlight different attributes of a coffee.
In order to truly brew together (apart), we’ll need to be brewing the same coffee! All students will need to order one 12-ounce bag of coffee, linked below. If you have a burr grinder at home, order whole bean coffee and we’ll discuss the size in class. If you don’t have a burr grinder at home, fret not—we can grind it to the perfect size for you! Just select a grind size according to your brew method from the drop down menu on the product page.
Before you check out, add one 12oz bag of The Daily to your cart.
Note: While our roasting and production teams are roasting, packing and shipping coffees as quickly as possible, there may be delays in delivery due to the impact ongoing crisis is having on shipping carriers. We recommend ordering coffee no less than 1 week ahead of class if using USPS, or selecting an expedited UPS option, if necessary.
